Kazakh Prime Minister’s Agenda for Visit to Azerbaijan Announced

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / The agenda for the official visit of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, to Azerbaijan was announced. According to information provided by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister and a delegation accompanying him will arrive in Baku on the evening of 3 April. The delegation includes Minister of Transport, Minister of Energy and other high-ranking representatives of Kazakhstan. The official part of the visit will begin on 4 April.

Firstly the delegation will visit Martyr's Avenue and the grave of the ex-President of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, and thereafter will hold meetings with senior officials of Azerbaijan. In addition, meetings will be held with Azerbaijan's Prime Minister, Artur Rasizade and President Ilham Aliyev. The meetings will cover cooperation with regards to transport and energy, expansion of commercial and economic relations and prospects of cooperation in Eurasia. Moreover, the sides will sign a number of documents on bilateral relations. Later, the Kazakh Prime Minister will participate in the opening of the newly constructed grain terminal in the settlement of Hovsan, as well as a trilateral meeting with the Government Heads of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan. Masimov will leave for Georgia from Baku.
