PACE Permanent Commission Meeting to Take Place in Belgrade

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Alizade / The Deputy Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), MP Gultakin Hajiyeva, stated that the meeting of the PACE Permanent Commission due on 23-25 May in Belgrade will focus on the report of the Dutch Parliamentarian Leo Platvoed regarding missing people.

The agenda of the meeting will include the 2008 budget of the Council of Europe and gender equality; carbon dioxide as mean to fight against climatic change; results of the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, as well as other issues. Azerbaijan will be represented at the meeting by the Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Parliament's Permanent Commission on International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations, member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, Gultakin Hajiyeva.
