Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Agayeva/ A Sri Lankan delegation, including three ministers will come to Azerbaijan on 16 August. The delegation, which includes, G. L. Peiris, the Minister of Export Development and International Trade, A.H. M. Fowzi, the Petroleum Resources Minister, and Sarath Amunugama, the Enterprise and Investment Development Minister, will participate in many important meetings with the Azerbaijani Government. The delegation will meet with Rovnag Abdullayev, the President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Natik Aliyev, the Energy and Industry Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, the Foreign Minister, Heydar Babayev, the Minister of Economic Development, and Emil Majidov, the head of AZPROMO. The Azerbaijani President will also meet with the delegation. " Azerbaijan can render assistance to Sri Lanka to improve its oil producing industry and I believe that the Sri Lankan delegation will demonstrate such interest during their visit to Baku," Tamerlan Garayev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Sri Lanka, noted.
