European Court on Human Rights issues decision on Azerbaijan

The European Court on Human Rights has issued another decision on Azerbaijan.
The court's decision in the case of Mahira Sadraddin gizi Muradova will be released on April 2, its official Web site said.
Muradova is an Azerbaijani citizen.
Muradova was subjected to police violence during opposition protests against the October presidential elections on March 16, 2003. She filed a lawsuit on violations of the Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms articles on torture, fair investigation and favorable legal protection.
The court has issued 16 decisions on Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan was admitted to the Council of Europe in 2001.
The European Court will release 23 decisions on March 31 and 19 decisions on April 19.
