Baku will host an international technical workshop on "Accident Insurance: history of development, reforms, the existing problems" April 28-29, Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) reported.
The workshop, to be held with the support of the International Social Security Association (ISSA), State Social Protection Fund, the Organization for Social Accident Insurance of Germany, will be attended by representatives of the International Labor Organization (ILO), International Association of Pension and Social Funds, the World Bank and others.
The workshop will be attended by representatives of Germany, Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan and many European countries.
The two-day workshop will mull the topics "International experience in the sphere of accidents insurance", "Impact of demography on accident insurance, "Insurance in energy, textiles and copper" and etc.
The opening ceremony will be attended by SSPF Head Salim Musliumov, official representatives of the ISSA Joachim Breuer and Bernd Treichel and Labour and Social Protection Minister Fizuli Alakbarov.
In 2004, Azerbaijan was elected as a member of the ISSA and in 2007 - member of the Steering Committee of the Association's European network.
