Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a working meeting with the governors of provinces and Ashgabat. The priority aspects of the socio-economic development of the country were considered, the Turkmen government said.
"Speaking about the restoration of the city of Abadan (a suburb of Ashgabat), President Berdimuhamedov instructed to take all measures for the upcoming launch of the construction," the government said.
The President stressed that the consistent implementation of measures to improve people's living standard, the social conditions of the population, as well as employment must be the main task of every leader.
The specific instructions were made.
The order was given on July 10, 2011 at a meeting of a special governmental commission to prepare a project of restoring Abadan after the incident.
According to the official information, pyrotechnic materials exploded in Abadan on July 7. Pyrotechnics were intended for fireworks and stored in special warehouses in the outskirts of the city of Abadan.
The fire occurred as a result of hot weather.
The country's authorities informed that nearby houses and buildings were partially as a result of emergency situation.
President Berdimuhamedov studied the design of new buildings and expansion of the city of Abadan at the expense of developing new lands in September. He said that there will be a new modern city as a symbol of welfare of our people in the epoch of new Revival.
Abadan must be a model in all respects, including environmental cleanliness.
Its industrial enterprises must be outside the residential areas. New social and cultural facilities with park complexes must become a real decoration of the city.
The residential area of houses, a shopping mall, a hotel, health and agro-industrial buildings and a cultural center are among the prepared projects.
It is also planned to build a modern office building.
The administration of the Akhal velayat and city Abadan, offices, public organizations and state agencies will operate here.
