BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. The leadership of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense conducted a visit to the permanent deployment point of one of its military police units on the eve of Victory Day, Trend reports via the ministry statement.
During the visit, the Ministry’s leadership met with the servicemen stationed there, familiarizing with their operational and combat activities, as well as their living conditions.
The Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov signed the Book of Remembrance.
Subsequently, the leadership of the Ministry observed a demonstration exercise conducted by the unit.
Throughout the meeting with the personnel, the Ministry’s leadership enquired about their concerns and well-being.
Hasanov congratulated the personnel on the upcoming 8 November – Victory Day, extending his best wishes for success in their service.
Furthermore, the leadership of the Ministry awarded a group of military personnel for their distinguished service.
The minister instructed on further improvement of combat readiness, enhancement of logistical support, social and living conditions of military personnel.
The visit concluded with the planting of memorial trees on the grounds of the military unit.
