The Society of Democracy and Human Rights in Azerbaijan which operates in Paris, has voiced its protest against the discussion of a draft law on Punishment of people denying the Armenian genocide' at the French Parliament on 12 October, Trendreports.
The Society called on all Azerbaijanis to protest against the law. A written appeal to the French Parliament stated that the approval of such law would cause hatred towards the people of Turkish origin. It would also support the falsification of history. The Society called for the French MPs to vote against the adoption of this law.
