On 11 December, the delegation of the Ministry of Culture & Information of Saudi Arabia headed by the Minister, Iyad Medeni, will arrive in Baku. The 7 delegates arrived at the invitation of the Azerbaijani Minister of Culture & Tourism, Abulfaz Garayev, Trend reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture & Tourism.
The delegation will visit Shirvanshah Palace, Maiden Tower, Carpet Museum, National Library, exhibition which will take place in the Exhibition Hall named after S.Bahliuzade. In addition, Medeni is expected to meet with the Head of Azerbaijan State Television and Azertaj News Agency. Generally the object of the visit is to become familiar with the rich culture and history of Azerbaijan.
The visit will conclude on 17 December.
