BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 29
By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia is almost completely represented by non-primary non-energy products, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia told Trend.
“Russia and Azerbaijan mainly focus on expanding the range of mutual deliveries of products. Over the past few years, supplies of acyclic hydrocarbons, printing paints, rehabilitation products for people with disabilities have increased from Russia to Azerbaijan,” the ministry said.
The ministry also said that the range of Azerbaijan’s export to Russia has expanded due to polymers, ferroalloys, synthetic fiber yarns.
“The trade turnover between the two countries, including Azerbaijani exports to Russia, is almost entirely represented by non-primary non-energy products, therefore, it is less affected by world energy prices and fluctuations in demand for hydrocarbon raw materials,” the ministry stressed.
