BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. A total of 6,360 tons of corn were exported from the Russian Kursk region to Azerbaijan in the first half of August 2022, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia told Trend.
"The phytosanitary condition, as well as the quality and safety of exported products are confirmed by opinions on the quarantine phytosanitary condition of regulated products, and test reports of federal accredited laboratories,” the service said.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 70,000 tons of corn have been exported from the Kursk region. The importing countries, along with Azerbaijan, were Kazakhstan, Belarus and Latvia, added the service.
