BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13.The Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan issued soft loans worth 2.8 billion manat ($1.64 million) as of today, Trend reports citing press service of the fund.
According to the fund, the loans were issued to 42,000 businessmen.
The issued loans contributed to the development of the non-oil sector in the country.
"With these funds, entrepreneurs have created innovative technologies for production and processing at enterprises, increased export-oriented projects and created new jobs," the fund said.
