Georgia, Tbilisi, 25 August / Trend corr. JN.Kirtkhalia/ Georgia has two largest trade partners as for January-July 2008 amongst the CIS countries. According to the Statistic Department, the first place takes Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has 2.2% increased trade turnover with Georgia. Export touches $46.8mln.
Mainly concrete and cars are exported. The import rate from Azerbaijan has increased by $174.2mln and comprised $ 368.3mln, which is more by 89.8% compared to 2007.
Ukraine takes the third place amongst the largest foreign trade partners of Georgia and second amongst the CIS countries. The trade turnover between the countries made up $561.5mln, which more by 41.1% compared to 2007.
Export has increased by 62.1%. The import rate from Ukraine has increased by 37.9% and touched $390.5mln. The most increase has been observed in wheat flour and bus import.
