Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 22/ Trend , N. Ismayilova/ The control measures carried out by the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan from Nov. 17 to Dec. 14 2008 revealed as many as 965 facts of tax violations and the ministry has taken respective measures, the ministry said.
A total of 482 facts were related with violation of payment of taxes by cash and 70 of them were related with payment of taxes through foreign currency.
The control measures revealed 125 tax payers operating without registration in tax agencies and 150 tax payers operating without license.
During this period, the ministry also 69 tax payers who recruited 74 physical persons without labor contracts, 23 tax payers who conveyed passengers without differential sign and 33 people dealing with the sale and purchase of currency in public places.
Four tax payers were revealed to have 120 goods without excise mark worth AZN 128.5.
The official exchange rate for Dec. 22 is 0,802 AZN/USD.
