One of the largest leasing companies of Azerbaijan UniLeasing is to resume auto leasing, which the company has suspended in early of the year due to low rate of liquidity of this type of leasing and reduction in the automobile market of the country.
"Company planned to resume auto leasing until the end of May, but postponed its plans due to preliminary work," the company said.
Company continues to issue auto leasing only to American-made cars through the U.S. Eximbank, which is approved for Unileasing long-term credit line of $2.5 million in September 2008.
A dramatic reduction has been observed on Azerbaijan's automobile market since the second half of 2008.
The UniLeasing has a pi authorized capital of 1.8 million manat. Founder of the company is the Uni Bank. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is the shareholder of the company with share of 33.33 percent.
On June 11, the official exchange rate is 0.8039 manat to $1.
