Second certification stage of brokers launched in Azerbaijan

The second stage of evaluative activity certification will be held in Azerbaijan on Jun 20, the Azerbaijani Appraisers Society executive director Elchin Samedli said on June 18.

"Courses for appraisers are held from June 18-19," Samedli said.

Roughly 15 people participate in the courses. Exact number of people who get permission to participate in exams will be announced on June 18. People are permitted for the examination on certain criteria, he said. 

Three brokers passed the first certification stage of brokers. Elchin Samedli (evaluative company Bilender), Anver Samigulin (Azintelectservis) and Nusret Ibrahimov (MBA Group) got certificates on rendering qualitative evaluative services. Roughly 9 from 16 pretenders were chosen in the first examination. 

Consultant of the International Finance Corporation on the project Igor Artemenkov, as well as deputy chairman of qualified commission of Russian Appraisers Society Hamid Mammadzhanov became examiners of brokers.

Examinations were conducted in two stages, the first one - written, the second - oral.

The examination is conducted within program of the International Finance Corporation on development of mortgage in Azerbaijan and Middle Asia together with the international evaluative center and the Azerbaijani Appraisers Society.

Artemenkov, deputy chairman of qualified commission of Russian Appraisers Society Hamid Mammadzhanov, as well as three appraisers passing the first stage enter the second entrance examination.

Estimation activity is regulated by the law Estimation activity adopted in 1995 in Azerbaijan.
