Turkish businessmen interested in Georgian public health

Turkish businessmen showed interests in Georgian public health, the Economy Ministry said.

Minister for Economical Development Lasha Zhvania met with the members of observation board of SILA company. The company holds hospital network both in Turkey and in other countries.

The company's is keen to have a hospital in Georgia with modern equipment to serve people not only in Georgia, but also in the Caucasus region, Turkish delegation head Ihsan Shahin said. On this purpose they plan to invest in one of state hospitals. The Turkish businessmen said they have relevant experience and potential to invest $200 million in Georgia.

Millions of dollars outflows from Georgia to other countries, including Turkey, to receive qualified medical aid. So, there is market in Georgia to do business. Georgian doctors are highly qualified, Zhvania stated.
