Another labor fair will take place in Sumgayit city of Azerbaijan on Oct. 9 upon the order of the Head of the City Administration, Vagif Aliyev.
Under the Presidential Decree dated May 15, 2007, on implementation of the "State Program on Employment Strategy for 2007-2010", a number of active measures have been taken in Sumgayit upon the order of the Labor and Social Protection Ministry, the city administration and employment services, the report said on Aug. 31.
In order to meet the activities of the Sumgayit employment service with modern standards, substantial work was conducted - the service area of employment services was restructured, the structure of work was improved, as well as favorable conditions were created for an effective job search.
The report also states that information centers and automated kiosks were formed in the operating room of the employment service, conditions were created for an independent job search, active support for job seekers, provide social protection, as well as a professional sectors operate.
Further, the service also has a room for seminars, video library, high speed internet access, card file of employers and enterprises and other modern tools for increasing effectiveness of the workflow
