Ganja Automobile Plant, German company Haller to sign contract

In late April, Ganja Automobile Plant (Azerbaijan) and the Germany company Haller will sign a contract for the production of communal equipment based on MAZ cars assembled at the plant in Azerbaijan, the Ganja Automobile Plant head Khanlar Fatiyev said today. Previously, the parties signed a protocol of intentions.

Recently, representatives of the Germany company were on a visit to Azerbaijan and got acquainted with the production capacity of the Ganja automobile plant. According to Fatiyev, the company has fully satisfied with the opportunities of the company for future production of communal vehicles.

Germany Haller company is the leader in communal vehicles, including garbage collection vehicles. The company was founded in 1871.

The plant assembles production of the Minsk Tractor Plant for the needs of the domestic market. According to marketing research, the plant has the opportunity of the annual production up to 5,000 units for the local market at existing areas.

Today Ganja plant assembles 25-ton-cranes on the basis of MAZ cars.

The plant collects in its capacity as the products of the Minsk Tractor Plant for the needs of the domestic market. According to marketing research, the plant has the opportunity of the annual production level of up to five thousand units for the local market for existing areas.

The contract for assembly and sale of a whole range of trucks and tractors of the Minsk automobile and tractor plants in Azerbaijan was signed in Minsk in late November 2006. Assembling is carried out in an area of 20,000 square meters.

Ganja is located on the west of Azerbaijan, 265 kilometers from Baku.
