The average rate on deposits in manat as of March 1 accounted for 11.30 percent compared to 11.27 percent as of February 1, 11.35 percent as of March 1, 2009, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan said.
The average rate on deposits in foreign currencies amounted to 10.99 percent compared to 11.02 percent and 9.01 percent respectively.
In March the average interest rate on deposits of physical individuals in manat hit 13 percent compared to 13.07 percent in February, 12.30 percent at the beginning of March 2009.
