The State National Service Turkmen Airlines opened the regular cargo flights Ashgabat-Istanbul (Turkey).
The report said that transportation is carried out twice a week on IL-76TD.
Aircrafts will transport building materials, equipment, machinery, spare parts and other goods. Major customers are enterprises producing textile, and foreign construction companies. A similar trip is carried out between Ashgabat and Abu Dhabi (UAE) last year.
The plans of the air carrier include further expanding of the geography of freight routes. It will provide additional revenue and increase the economic efficiency of air travel.
