In April, prices for agricultural products in Azerbaijan increased by 1.8 percent, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
Production prices for livestock products increased by 3.3 percent, crop - 0,5 percent, the statement said.
Production prices for grains and melons increased by two percent, some fruits - by 1.3 percent, olives and nuts - 0,7 percent, potatoes - 0,3 percent. Vegetables became cheaper by 0.2 percent, citrus fruits - by 0,3 percent, other vegetables - by 2.5 percent.
Prices for livestock increased. Prices for calves increased by 28.7 percent, cattle - 2.9 percent, sheep - 1,9 percent. Prices for lamb reduced by 0.3 percent, milk - by 3,2 percent, poultry - 2,7 percent in April. Prices for fish and fish products increased by 0.5 percent.
