The "Moscow-Baku" flight made by S7 airline (a trademark of Siberia Airlines) from Domodedovo airport, which was supposed to start this morning, was delayed. It will be made on Tuesday with another flight at 4:35 local time, the Heydar Aliyev International Airport said today.
The Baku-Moscow flight made by S7 airline, which was supposed to start to Sheremetyevo from Baku this morning, is also delayed. The plane will leave Baku earlier tonight.
It was freezing raining in Moscow and Moscow region yestreday. Drops, formed in the atmosphere with a positive temperature, instantly froze before reaching the ground. The temperature was nearly 4 degrees below zero. Icy crust was formed on the ground and wires. As a result, the vital activity of the Moscow region was severely disrupted. More than 100,000 people stayed without electricity. There were problems with the movement of trains and trolley buses. Power outages resulted in a delay of trains.
"Domodedovo" airport suspended its operations. Roughly 70 flights were not made after power supply was switched off.
