According to the Azerbaijani Tariff Council, the cost of a ticket to Baku-Nakhchivan and Nakhchivan-Baku is reduced from 95 manat to 70 manat, the Ministry of Economic Development said. The new tariffs will take effect from January 2011.
According to the report, roughly 20 manat of the ticket price will be paid by the state. Earlier, passengers paid 75 manat for the ticket. This amount will go up to 50 manat from Jan. 1.
This decision was made at a meeting of the Tariff Board, held on December 29.
