A rich citrus harvest is expected in Adjara in 2011, the Agriculture Ministry said.
According to the report, as a result of preliminary monitoring, 90,000 tons of citrus fruits will be harvested in 2011.
The ministry will get more exact data in late September.
As Deputy Agriculture Minister Donara Surmanidze said, the main sales markets will be Ukraine and Belarus, as well as Azerbaijan, Moldova and Armenia, as in past years.
