More than $140 million to be allocated from state budget of Azerbaijan for transport and communications in 2013

Some 111.7 million manat will be allocated from the state budget of Azerbaijan for the transport and communications sector, which is 27 percent more compared to the figure on 2012, Ministry of Finance said on Monday.

In particular, the total costs of allocation from the state budget for communications and transport, CJSC Azerbaijan Railways, flights carried out to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as price reductions to the CIS travels for the disabled and war veterans amounted to 10 million manat, which is 28.2 percent more compared to the figure in 2012.

In 2013, the cost of the target budget fund "Highways" will amount to 194 million manat, which is 7.8 percent more than in 2012.

According to the project, in 2013 the budget will amount to 19.81 billion manat (35.2 percent of GDP projected for next year).
