Oil giant BP said Friday that it would make an announcement "at the appropriate time" if a deal is reached with state-owned Russian firm Rosneft over the sale of BP's share in Russian joint venture TNK-BP, reported dpa.
BP confirmed in a statement to the London Stock Exchange that the 90-day deadline for the submission of a bid has expired.
"If and when BP reaches any agreement, it will make an announcement at the appropriate time," said the statement.
