During the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20-November 20, 2012), some 18,691,808 travelers have arrived and left Iran, ISNA reported.
Over 9.49 million travelers arrived in the country and 9.19 million travelers left the country during the 8-month period.
The total arrival and departure figure showed a 9.1 percent fall compared to the same period in the previous year.
Qeshm, Imam Khomeini, and Kish airports registered the highest amounts of traveling, accounting for 20.6 percent, 16.4 percent, and 11.2 percent of the total figure.
