Loan rate in freely convertible currency ahead of manat loans in terms of reduction in Azerbaijan

As of Jan. 1, 2013, Azerbaijani banks reduced the percent rates on loans in local and foreign currency.

According to the Azerbaijani Central Bank's statistics report, the average rate on banking lending to Azerbaijani economy in manat hit 15.20 percent compared to 16.27 percent as of Jan. 1, 2012.

The average rate on banking lending in freely convertible currency amounted to 15.80 percent compared to 16.79 percent as of early 2012.

As of Jan. 1, 2013, the average rate on legal entities' banking lending in manat was 13.32 percent compared to 14.53 percent as of early Jan. 2012.
The average rate on corporate clients' banking lending in freely convertible currency amounted to 13.22 percent compared to 14.30 percent as of early 2012.

As of early Jan. 2013, the average rate on physical entities' banking lending in manat was 18.25 percent compared to 19.06 percent as of Jan. 1, 2012. The average rate on corporate clients' banking lending in freely convertible currency was 22.06 percent compared to 22.90 percent as of early 2012.
