About 30.3 million manats (approximately $40 million) invested in the enterprises privatized through investment tenders in Azerbaijan in first half of 2013.
This was stated by the chairman of the State Committee on Property Issues Kerem Hasanov during his speech at a board meeting, the committee reported on Tuesday.
"In the first half of 2013, about 490 state objects were privatized during the small-scale privatization. Lands with 390 objects were privatized," Hasanov said.
According to him, the shares of 21 joint-stock societies were privatized at 24 cash and specialized cash auctions.
As of July 1, 2013, the data on 148,769 real estate objects of 13850 state agencies and branches has been included in state property register.
"In the first half-year 14 normative-legal documents regulating the spheres of management of state property, its privatization, registration of real estate rights, as well as spheres related with the cadastre of real estate were prepared," Hasanov said.
