Azerbaijan produced 710 cars in January-April 2014 which is 3.3 times more than in the same period of 2013.
Some 424 cars were produced in the republic in 2013, which is 21.8 percent less than in 2012, according to the report of the State Statistics Committee as of the first quarter of 2014.
Some 105 trucks were produced in the country during the reported period, which is 2.2 times more than in the same period of last year, according to the report.
In 2013, Azerbaijan produced 246 trucks, which is 52.8 percent more than in 2012.
The republic produced 441 tractors in January-April, which is 2.2 times more than in the same period of 2013.
Some 739 tractors were produced in 2013, which is 19.6 percent more than in 2012.
There are two plants producing vehicles in Azerbaijan located in the cities of Nakhchivan and Ganja.
