Uzbekistan’s International Business Center under Xalqaro Hamkorlik Markazi joint stock company will be put up for auction, according to Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s decree on “Measures for further development and improvement of the activity of the Uzbek State Committee for Investments” dated Oct. 16, 2017.
According to the decree published on the president’s website, the state share in the company’s authorized capital will be kept at 51 percent.
The country’s State Committee for Investments and State Committee for Privatization were charged with assessment of the package of state shares in the authorized capital of Xalqaro Hamkorlik Markazi company within a month and put it up for auction.
According to the document, the International Business Center, as well as the Interservis State Enterprise will be transferred to the Uzbek State Committee for Investments. Earlier, the International Business Center, as well as the Interservis State Enterprise were part of the Uzbek Ministry for Foreign Trade.
Moreover, the Tashkent Plaza shopping center under Xalqaro Hamkorlik Markazi company will be transferred to Uzsanoatexport joint stock company of the country’s Ministry for Foreign Trade.
The recreation zone of Xalqaro Hamkorlik Markazi company will be transferred to the Uztrade joint stock company of the country’s Ministry for Foreign Trade.
