Turnover at Baku Stock Exchange exceeded 300 million manats

The turnover at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) has exceeded 300.5 million manats last week (October 15-19).

The largest volume has fallen on the placement of bonds of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan and notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. Their total volume has amounted to 285.8 million manats (bonds of the Ministry of Finance - 37.35 million manats, notes of the CBA - 248.45 million manats).

The volume of transactions on shares in the secondary market of the exchange has amounted to 7,230.76 manats, more than 3,200 transactions have been concluded on them. During the week, the deals have been concluded on shares of the Kapital Bank, the Seba Group of Companies, the Baku Hovsan International Sea Trade Port, a number of construction and car service companies, wine and food manufacturers.

The volume of trade in the secondary bond market has exceeded 12.58 million manats. At the same time, 12,700 transactions have been concluded. Most of the deals have fallen on bonds of the Azerbaijan State Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund totaling 12.14 million manats. A total of 12,000 transactions have been concluded on them.

The remaining part has fallen on the US dollar bonds of the Azerbaijani state company SOCAR, on which the quarterly interest payments have been made recently. The cost of bonds has ranged from $1012 to $1030.

During the week, the repo operations with bonds of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan worth 2.2 million manats have been carried out.
