In January-October 2018, Uzbekistan produced 148,300 cars, which is 31.7 percent more compared to the same period in 2017, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in a report.
According to the information, the production of trucks increased by 5.3 percent – up to 3,370.
In the reporting period, Uzbekistan produced 532 buses, which is 32.1 percent less compared to the same period in 2017.
In the first ten months of 2018, Uzbekistan produced 115,340 automobile engines, which is 49.2 percent more compared to January-October 2017.
In January-October 2018, the production volume of tractors amounted to 2,710 units, which is 4.6 times more compared to the same period of 2017.
