Azerbaijani company METAK plans to produce 7,000 tons of plastic pipes in 2019, executive director of the company, Aydin Karimov, told Trend Nov. 27.
Karimov noted that during the 10 months of 2018, the company produced 5,100 tons of plastic pipes, adding that this figure will reach 6,000 tons by the end of the year.
Speaking about the plans to expand exports, Karimov said an analysis of the markets of the near abroad is regularly held and all possibilities for expanding the market of sales are considered.
“Our products are mainly exported to Russia,” he noted.
Karimov added that export is not a priority for the company for now.
METAK was established in 1997.
