Economic growth of Kazakhstan amounts to over 4%

The economy growth of Kazakhstan amounted to 4.1 percent in 2018, said Alikhan Smailov, the Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan, Trend report with reference to the press office of the ministry.

“The value of county's budget income equaled to 8.8 trillion tenge during 2018. Some 5.7 trillion tenge of the sum accounts for tax payments. The percentage of tax payments in the total volume of revenue increased by 15 percent in 2019 and stood at 65 percent,” the minister said.

He further stated that the percentage of oil revenue to GDP of the country amounted to eight percent.

“This is due to the results of state programs funding, which are aimed at development of agricultural complex, small and medium business, housing construction and infrastructure. Furthermore, improvement of tax and customs administration affected the revenue increase,” concluded Smailov.
