The Baku Textile Factory, which is a big enterprise in Azerbaijan, has increased the production of children's clothing, director of the factory Sakina Babayeva told Trend.
“The volume of production of children's clothing by the factory increased by 25-30 percent compared to last year,” the director added.
“Presently, the monthly volumes of children's clothing reach up to 25,000-30,000 pieces,” Babayeva said. “This figure reached 15,000-18,000 pieces monthly last year. The factory intends to increase the production volumes and plans to increase this figure even more next year.”
“We plan to increase the monthly production volumes up to 35,000-40,000 pieces next year,” the director said. “At the same time, we plan to increase the export volumes abroad.”
“In this regard, we are constantly in search of partners,” Babayeva said. “In parallel, we are negotiating with potential customers abroad. We plan to export the textile products of our factory under the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand to more countries in 2020.”
The director stressed that following the results of 2019, the Baku Textile Factory increased the production volumes by 30-40 percent compared to last year.
Some 300 people work in the Baku Textile Factory and seven production lines are used.
The factory has been operating since 1939. In fact, it was the first textile factory in the South Caucasus region.
Presently, the factory continues its activity upon the European standards by using Germany’s and Japan’s modern equipment and technologies.
The factory produces everyday clothes, evening dresses, corporate clothing, children's clothes, sportswear, medical uniforms, as well as overalls, school uniforms and all types of workwear, including promo clothing and military uniforms.
