Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan organized an Uzbek-Dutch agribusiness forum, and B2B meetings with representatives of Dutch business circles, on March 10, 2020, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of the Kingdom of Netherlands, as well as a large delegation of business representatives of Dutch agricultural companies.
The main purpose of the event was to build the cooperation between two country, in growing and processing of fruit and vegetables, livestock and poultry farming, construction of greenhouses, as well as implementation of investment projects in these areas.
Dutch companies presented their activities, during the meeting, in three main spheres: greenhouses, horticulture and logistics.
During the meeting, the entrepreneurs of the two countries discussed issues related to further expansion of trade and economic relations and development of mutually beneficial cooperation in these spheres.
The open dialogue has made it possible to clearly identify the spheres of mutual interests for further in-depth interaction between business circles of Uzbekistan and Netherlands.
Another session of Uzbek-Dutch agricultural forum will be held at the Youth Center in Samarkand on March 12 2020.
