About 279,000 tons of products were loaded and unloaded at the Khorramshahr port of Khuzestan Province (southwestern Iran) during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20 - June 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).
According to the report, 268,000 tons of products were loaded and 10.7 tons of products were unloaded at the port during three months.
“Thus, during this period, 268,000 tons of products were exported and 10,600 tons of products were imported through this port,” the report added.
More than 87 tons of products were unloaded for transit through the Khorramshahr port during three months.
“As many as 53 tons of products were loaded for transshipment in three months,” the report said.
About 543 tons of products were loaded for other purposes.
In total, 5.45 million tons of products were loaded and 4.2 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports during the reporting period.
