According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of June 30, 2020, direct investments from Georgia in the Ukrainian economy amounted to $10.70 million the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine told Trend.
"In addition, as of June 30, 2020, the volume of direct investments from Ukraine to Georgia amounted to $1.60 million," the ministry said.
According to the source, such areas as agriculture, energy, processing industry, transport infrastructure, and healthcare are considered promising for attracting investments.
"It should be noted that UkraineInvest has developed a universal UkraineInvest Guide for foreign investors who plan to invest in Ukraine. UkraineInvest Guide contains, in particular, information about investment projects and will be updated on an ongoing basis," the ministry said.
