Iranian specialized exhibition to be held in Afghanistan

The 14th specialized exhibition of Iran is being in Kabul- the capital of Afghanistan, on January 10-13, Trend reports citing Fars news agency.

Mine and Trade of Iran, Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) Hamid Zadboum said that Iran's specialized exhibition in Afghanistan was not held due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic.

The deputy minister added that the value of Iran's annual exports to Afghanistan exceed $3 billion at present. The value of Iran's exports to Afghanistan is estimated to be reached $5 billion in the next Iranian year with the creation of diversity.

As reported, Iran exported 85.2 million tons of goods worth $25 billion during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through December 20, 2020). China, Iraq, the UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan are in the top five in Iran's exports, respectively.

So, Iran exported 5.2 million tons of goods worth $1.7 billion to Afghanistan within the 9 months.
