Kazakhstan’s KazTransOil decreases oil transshipment volumes in 1Q2021

Kazakhstan’s KazTransOil has transported 10.2 million tons of oil through the main oil pipeline system in 1Q2021, which is 272,000 tons less than in 1Q2020, Trend reports citing the company.

Oil cargo turnover separately through the company’s main oil pipeline system amounted to 8.6 billion ton-kilometers, which is 322 million ton-kilometers less than in 1Q2020.

The consolidated oil turnover of KazTransOil JSC amounted to 10.6 billion ton-kilometers, which is 70 million ton-kilometers less than in the 1Q2020.

The volume of oil transportation to the refineries of Kazakhstan remained at the level of the same period in 2020 and amounted to 4.6 million tons of oil.

Some 1.1 million tons were delivered to Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP, 1.3 million tons to PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP, 1.3 million tons to Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, and 150,000 tons to CASPI BITUM JV LLP.

Compared to the 1Q2020, the volume of oil transportation through the section Atyrau-Samara of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main oil pipeline decreased by 33,000 tons and amounted to 3.2 million tons.

Some 2.6 million tons of oil were transported through Kazakhstan’s part of TON-2 oil pipeline, which is 58,000 tons less than in the same period of 2020.

Some 2.5 million tons of oil were transshipped through Atasu-Alashankou main oil pipeline, which is 54,000 tons more compared to 1Q2020.

Volume of oil transshipment through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K main oil pipeline system amounted to 142,000 tons, which is 236,000 tons less than in 1Q2020.

Oil loading into tankers in Aktau port with the use of KazTransOil’s capacities amounted to 526,000 tons, which is 2,000 tons less than in the 1Q2020.

Some 4.8 million tons were transported to the Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP, which is 389,000 tons more than the same indicator in 2020. Cargo turnover amounted to 3.625 billion ton-kilometers, which is 320 million ton-kilometers more than in 1Q2020.

The volume of oil transportation through the MunaiTas LLP oil pipeline amounted to 943,000 tons, which is 386,000 tons more than in 1Q2020. Cargo turnover also increased by 182 million ton-kilometers, amounting to 390 million ton-kilometers.

The volume of oil transshipped to Batumi Oil Terminal LLC and the Petrotrans Limited LLC Groups amounted to 393,000 tons, which is 207,000 tons more than in the same period in 2020.
