Iranian customs Administration spokesman said that the trade process between Iran and Afghanistan, which has been slowed down over the past month, has returned to almost normal status, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The trade process has been stopped in Mahirud border for less than 24 hours, Dugharoun for 3 days, and Milak for 5 days, due to the recent Afghanistan crisis,” Rouhollah Latifi said.
“In some days, traders decided to reduce the shipment of their goods, but in the past few days, the amount of trade in Iran's three borders with Afghanistan has increased again and returned to normal,” he added.
Every September, Iran increases its vegetable, detergents, food, and construction materials ‘export to Afghanistan, he said.
