New Naberauli Winery has been incorporated under the "Produce in Georgia" state program, Trend reports via Government administration.
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili visits Naberauli Winery.
"It is important that project branded as "Produce in Georgia" provides financial support to such production companies, thus empowering the economy of the country" stated Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia at Naberauli Winery today, which he visited together with the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia.
Naberauli Wines was incorporated in 2018. It obtained grant financing from the "Produce in Georgia" state program in the value of 600,000 lari ($193,034) in the same year and built a winery in 2019 with a total investment of 3 million lari ($965,171).
The annual capacity of the winery is 120 tons of beverage, out of which 84 tons are kept in reservoirs, 35 tons - in Kvevri (earthenware vessels), and up to 2 tons - in barrels.
The winery employs 20 people, out of which 10 are local residents.
Naberauli Wines produces such Rachvelian wines as Khvanchkara, Rachuli Mtsvane, Rachuli Sapere and Alexandrouli.
