Kazakhstan's trade indicators with TOP-3 partners in Americas unveiled

Kazakhstan’s trade with the countries of the Americas has amounted to $1.8 billion over the period from January through August 2021, which is 20.4 percent more than $1.5 billion over the same period of last year, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Kazakhstan’s trade with the US amounted to $1.3 billion, which is 19.2 percent more than during the same period of last year ($1.1 billion). Kazakhstan’s export to the US was $502.7 million, whereas import was $865.6 million.

Trade with Canada amounted to $138.5 million over the reporting period of 2021, which is 39.8 percent less than during the same period of 2020. Kazakhstan’s export to Canada was $79.04 million, whereas import was $59.4 million.

Furthermore, bilateral trade with Mexico amounted to $110.6 million, which is 2.8 times more than during the same period of 2020 (59.2 million). Kazakh export to Mexico amounted to $5.4 million, whereas import was $105.2 million.

Kazakhstan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $62.8 billion over the period from January through August 2021, which indicates an increase of 10 percent as compared to $57.09 billion during the same period last year.
