The production volume of Bäherden Galla önümleri bakery enterprise climbed by 29.2 percent amounting to 14.6 million manats ($ 4.2 million) over the course of eleven months, Trend reports via Business Turkmenistan.
The report says the company produced high-quality flour, bread and bakery products in 2021.
In the past, the plant also produced hundreds of tons of crushed wheat.
The products of the enterprise, located in the Akhal region of Turkmenistan, are supplied to consumers every day. The production complex is running nonstop due to the drive to fulfill rising demand.
Earlier, the Turkmen Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs said the country plans to harvest 1.4 million tons of grain in 2022. Grain will be harvested from 690,000 hectares of land next year.
At the same time, it is planned to collect 400,000 tons of grain in the Akhal region, 345,000 in Mary, 310,000 in Lebap, 265,000 in Dashoguz, and 8,000 in the Balkan region.
Turkmenistan first began exporting wheat 10 years ago, and already in 2015 was awarded a special award by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for achievements in ensuring food security as one of the Millennium Development Goals.
