BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 4. Exports from Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province decreased by 26 percent in value and 37 percent in volume, during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2022), Supervisor of Razavi Khorasan Province Customs Office Javad Jafari said, Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

The official noted that a total of 655,000 tons of goods worth $355 million were exported from the province in 4 months.

“The exported goods were mainly saffron, metal products, apples, pistachios, dairy products and so on,” he said.

Jafari added that more than 70 percent of goods were exported to Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

In addition, $225 million worth of goods were imported to the province in 4 months, Jafari also pointed out.

According to him, cotton, raw materials, mobile phones and equipment were the main imported goods and imported mainly from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and China.
