BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. About 522,000 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $199 million were exported through the customs of Iran’s Kermanshah Province, during the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2023), an official of the Kermanshah Province Customs Office Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to the official, the exports via the province’s customs for the reporting month increased by 5 percent compared to the same month in the last Iranian year.

Abbaszadeh added that fittings, iron materials, ceramics, fruits and vegetables, construction materials, dairy products, rubber products and so on were the main exported goods via the province’s customs.

“Among the customs of the province, the most products were exported through Parvizkhan customs - 202,000 tons worth approximately $82.6 million,” he said.

There are 2 border checkpoints and 5 border markets in Kermanshah Province of Iran.

Overall, Iran exported about 10.5 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $3.65 billion for the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2023).

This is a decrease of 12.9 percent in value, while an increase of 17.7 percent in volume compared to the same month in the last year.
