The Chairman of the Executive Board of the National Bank of Azerbaijan, Elman Rustamov, briefed the media on December 26 that as a result of 11 months of 2006, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan equaled 8%.
According to him, by the end of the year, the inflation in the country is expected to reach 8,7 9%, adding that the base inflation equals 7,5%.
