Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr.S.Babayeva / Azerbaijan attended at the workshop on selection and development of national potential of biotechnology sphere. Asad Musayev, the head of the Science Centre at the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry, represented the country at the workshop.
The Centre reported on 25 July that the event took place in Tashkent last weak. The International Centre of Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the UN and the International Centre on improving sorts of grains and corn are the organizer of the workshop.
Musayev spoke on work held in Azerbaijan in selection sphere. The workshop was held for Middle Asia and South Caucasus countries.
